UPDATE 5 Aug 04: the *.png files have been removed due to
slashdotting.  You can download the *.tar.gz and unpack your
own copy for research.  Pranksters will have to find another
host for the raw *.png files.

pngtest_bad.png

   A png file with a bad tRNS chunk, evidently made with a binary
   editor that simply changed the length field from 1 to 512
   and relocated the tRNS chunk ahead of the PLTE chunk.

   A tarball containing pngtest_bad.png for downloading.

bigh.png

   A valid indexed PNG image that has one billion rows by one column.

bigh.png.tar.gz

   A tarball containing bigh.png for downloading (nicely compressed!).

bigw.png
   A valid indexed PNG image that has one row by 0x04000003 columns
(about 65 million columns) of 8-byte RGBA pixels.

   A tarball containing bigw.png for downloading, also nicely compressed.
